The Taragalte association for culture and sustainable development aims to celebrate world music, to safeguard the cultural heritage of the nomads of the Drâa valley, to contribute to the socio-economic improvement of the Oasis of M' Hamid El Ghizlane (Morocco) and to shed light on the many actions carried out on a daily basis.

Led by its president and artistic director Ibrahim Sbai, the association is best known for its Taragalte intercultural festival. An event proposed by native nomads to discover a region of great beauty and little known, while seeking to build a timeless universe, suitable for exchange and the image of this exceptional setting.

Listening to nature, Taragalte is designed as a moment of discovery, meeting, sharing, conviviality and respect, within a typically South Moroccan landscape, in the last great oasis of the Draâ valley. .
